New Album added to Jamendo!

Whatever else I do and wherever else I go I always end up coming back to Jamendo. As a musician I have found the most interest at Jamendo, and the most appreciation of my music!

The first album I posted in 2008 received 17221 listens!
Downloaded 1450 times!
Starred 46 times and playlisted many times as well.

For a musician that matters. I have gone for weeks on other sites not getting any feedback, sales or interest. Facebook for me is pretty weak.

So I have uploaded a new album called ‘A Beautiful World’

10 Tracks of ambient soft rock. Heavily Pink Floyd influenced. I wrote this album during a Summer in Worcestershire on long and hot Summer Days.
The house overlooked fields and it was all like a dream.
So this is what came out.

As a complete opposite I also have a new album of 15 catchy pop songs in the Beatles/Oasis/Rolling Stones style..well kind of…

Hi..Well this is my first blog..Even though Ive been on Jamendo for a long time I didnt even know this existed!!
And I figured well, lets tell share something..
My album Dancing Buddhas has got 1050 downloads!! I am real pleased about that..Its been well starred and listened to over 10,000 times..Got great reviews also..And I was never going to do anything with this album. It was actually something I just knocked out when I got some new software, Stylus drum machine.. And I laid a few tracks down, played around, left it came back to it, did some more and pretty soon, Dancing Buddhas!! My partner chose the title and the track names..It all worked really..

You probably dont know anything about me.. Well I am an English musician living in Somerset UK..I live and work with my partner Amoda Maa Jeevan   who is an author of the book ‘How to find God in Everything’.
I am inspired to dive into music, to create beauty and flow in music as in life..My style of writing is to not really know where Im going to go but to totally trust the journey..mostly it works out, sometimes I hit a brick wall!!  But its always worth the ride..I think you can hear the joureny style in my music.
I used to play live improvised music for Amoda’s Trance Dance workshops in London.. so I gained a lot of experience in letting go, getting out of the way..which for a musician is pretty hard!! This is how I write, by getting out of the way..Any way thats some of what I do and how I do it..More to come.. I dont know if anyone ever reads this stuff..If you do and you like it or dont like it..let me know, I’d like some feedback!!
